How can I get involved?
So, you’re interested in seeing how you could help to discover an infinite impact on reducing poverty. Good, we need all the help we can get – POVERTY is a huge issue; as broad as it is complex.
We are looking for people who are willing to take a second look at the way aid and development is currently implemented and perhaps even willing to challenge the existing methods – there is ALWAYS A BETTER WAY.
The starting point would be to come along to our Monday sessions and join us on our processing and research outside of the speaker series. This meets every Monday (with the exception of the first Monday of the month) at the Victoria University.
Email Adam at ladderproject@gmail.com if you have any questions about the project or if you would like to get involved. Alternatively, you can leave a comment for us to reply to below.
The Ladder Project runs from July through November 2009. The following are some of the areas you could get involved in:
- Attend and participate in the Speaker Series
- Research and analysis of best practice and emerging methodologies in aid and development
- Documentation of key insights and “lesson learned” from subject matter experts (part of the Speaker Series)
- Promotion of the project
- Development of potential development models and approaches
- 2010 – Launch of new endeavor
